Selin, a young woman smiling and holding a baloon
I’m a product designer, designing tools that don’t stand in the way of people. For the last 6 years, I’ve been building products for the healthcare industry for enterprise companies and startups.
My background is in Human-Computer Interaction and Operations Research, so love playing with data and thrive when designing for information-heavy situations.
I approach abstract challenges with the goal to translate them into clear problems and try to understand and visualize the problem space so thoroughly that solutions emerge organically.
My design philosophy is that intuitive information architecture guides users and teams alike.
Currently based in Pittsburgh, I’m from Turkey. As most Turkish people do, I conduct any and all meetings with the accompaniment of a cup of tea.
Outside work, I can be found hunting for mushrooms, tinkering with paper pop-ups, and making kawaii snacks.
“We are stuck with technology when what we really want is just stuff that works.”
